The service

Enter a short illustration brief, choose one to four foreground colors, a background and a supported size. Each successful generation provides one raster image for preview and download. Colors and background guide the model. Exact HEX matching, a perfectly flat background, vector output and a particular artistic result are not guaranteed.

Credits and payment

The trial starts with 3 credits. Each image uses 1 credit. The one-off pack adds 50 credits for $5.00. Credits do not expire. Purchased credits are used before any remaining trial credits. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Applicable tax is added at checkout. Stripe shows the total before payment and may offer local currency. Purchases are sold through Link using Stripe Managed Payments; Link is the merchant of record, while VIDREAM LTD operates the illustration service. Your statement shows LINK.COM* PALETTEFINCH. Sign in with Google before buying; purchased credits belong to that account.

Free trial and fair use

Anonymous workspaces receive three trial images per browser. Free-credit generation is limited to three attempts per IP address per UTC day and 200 across the service per UTC day, including free credits carried into a signed-in account. A failed attempt returns its credit but still counts toward these abuse-prevention limits. When a free limit is reached, purchased credits can be used to continue; purchases require sign-in. Generation using purchased credits has no daily cap, but concurrent and duplicate requests are controlled. An account can receive the remaining eligible credits from one browser trial. Signing in does not grant a fresh trial allowance, and another browser does not add one.

Your content and output review

Provide only material you have the right to use and follow our acceptable use policy. Review outputs before publication for suitability, accuracy and third-party rights. A provider’s commercial-use label does not guarantee that every generated image is free of copyright, trademark or other claims. We do not promise exclusive ownership of an output.

Workspace access and image storage

You can try the service without signing in. An anonymous workspace belongs to the current browser until linked to a Google account. Signing in brings its images, orders and remaining eligible credits into that account once; extra trial allowances are removed. Your first browser workspace can be linked while an illustration is still being prepared. If you later sign in from another browser with an in-progress trial request, that request must finish or time out before the additional workspace can be linked. Keep its browser cookie until then. Clearing it before linking can remove access. Generated images expire after 90 days and are automatically deleted from our image storage. Download your copies before they expire; credits do not expire with the images.

Support, refunds and account deletion

Email support@palettefinch.com; we reply within 48 hours. Unused credit packs can be fully refunded within 14 days of purchase. Once any credit from a pack has been used, that pack is not refundable under our voluntary policy, subject to mandatory rights and Stripe’s refund decisions. Failed generation returns its reserved credit. See the refund policy for details. Account and data deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to records we must legally retain.

Independent service and availability

PaletteFinch uses Recraft V4.1 Flash through fal.ai. It is independently operated and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Recraft or fal.ai. Availability depends on our providers. Purchases from mainland China are currently unavailable. UK and EU checkout is subject to payment-provider eligibility.

Applicable law

These service terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms or our refund policy limits mandatory consumer rights available where you live. Link’s transaction terms apply to the payment it processes; these terms describe the service supplied by VIDREAM LTD.
